Google Wave Invite!

I will give away THREE (3) Google Wave INVITES!!

I have been trying out the new Google Wave Preview. It is very interesting. I am not certain of all the stuff it will eventually be able to do but it has a LOT of possibilities. I have been playing with it some but I want to do a lot more testing.

Waves (an instance of Google Wave (GW) is called a “wave”) are somewhat like collaborative email or IM or white-boarding or something (grin). Each participant can comment, add links or videos, etc and all the other participants see it is (almost) real-time.

The problem now is that I don’t have many personal friends who have and use Google Wave so I can’t do much testing. The alternative is to open a wave to everyone but that wave fills up quickly and becomes sluggish and unmanageable. I have embedded such a wave in an article here: http://raywaldo.com/2009/11/google-wave/ However, you can only see & participate in the wave if you already have a wave account. (That is a Google rule – not mine.)

What I need is a few people who are willing to work with me to better understand how GW works. To enable that, I am giving away three (3) Invites to GW. Of course, the recipient of the Invite will have a full-fledged account of their own to use in any way they wish. My only request is that you be willing to work with me to discover some unique ways to use GW.

To be considered for an invite:

  • Follow me on twitter raywaldo
  • ReTwit (RT) my twitter post announcing this invite
  • Leave a comment to this post describing your interest (include a valid email addy in the form)
